Privacy is the product here, so this policy is short and literal.
To run your instance, personalize your agents, process your subscription, and support you. That's the complete list. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your content to train AI models — ours or anyone's.
Your memory and conversations are not pooled with other customers' data. Product logins are separate from our infrastructure credentials — our operators administer the machine, not your account. You set the password; we never see it. Even we cannot sign in as you. Traffic is encrypted with TLS.
Your instance sends conversation context to the AI model configured for it. Depending on your setup that model runs on dedicated hardware we operate, or at a third-party inference provider under our API agreement with them. Where a third-party provider is used, prompts are processed to generate replies and are subject to that provider's data handling; we choose providers whose API terms exclude training on customer data, and we'll tell you which provider your instance uses.
While you subscribe, your instance keeps what it needs to be itself. We do not keep a record of everything you do. Media clips, health telemetry and the per-interaction model ledger live on your instance and are never copied off it.
When we process your cancellation, we keep you whole for 365 days from that point. We action cancellations promptly; until we do, your instance simply stays as it was and nothing is removed. We archive only what makes your companions the same when you come back — your memory, your agents' characters, your profile and settings, your sign-in, and your workspace documents. That archive is encrypted at rest with a key held only by us, and it is a few megabytes: we deliberately do not retain the software itself, because we can reinstall that. On the 365th day it is destroyed automatically, by a scheduled job, without anyone needing to remember.
If you ask us to delete everything, we delete everything. Not just the live instance — also the retained archive, your claim and email records, your rows in our order and tenant registries, and every daily backup that still contains you. Backups are repacked without your data rather than left to age out. The deletion is then verified in six places before we tell you it is done, because a deletion that reports success while data survives is worse than none at all. Email admin@aetherawareness.com and say you want your account erased.
This marketing site sets no cookies. Your instance sets one strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in — HttpOnly, same-site, and signed. There is no tracking cookie anywhere.
